While it has not been officially confirmed, it is believed that Janet Jackson has fully converted to Islam. In 2012 she married Wissam Al Mana, and many believe that she converted to Islam after the wedding. It has not stopped her from pursing her career, and she seems quite happy with her husband. If she did convert, she is not the first Jackson to do so. Jermaine Jackson also converted to Islam.

Cassius Clay’s conversion to Islam didn’t have anything to do with his religious beliefs. At the time he was looking for a way out of being drafted and would have joined the girl scouts if he thought it would keep him out of the Army. I am having trouble understanding how college educated women, can stay with this cult. The actions of this cult are not new, it has been going on for 1400 yrs. The truth- Since Abraham had 2 children -Isaac and Ishmael there has been division between Jews and Muslims. Hagar and Sarah were the mothers. With all due respect, Anne, let’s make sure the “corrections” are correct. According to the book of Genesis, Ishmael was half Egyptian (through Hagar), and half Chaldean/Shemite (through Abram/Abraham). If you don’t want to equate being Egyptian with being “African,” even though Egypt sits on the north-eastern end of the African continent, it’s not worth arguing…. Either way, their skin tones were never described.
Contrary to what you posted below, Ishmael and his mother (Hagar) didn’t have children together. I hope that was a simple mistake on your part. In Genesis 21, it’s stated that Hagar found an Egyptian wife for Ishmael. In Genesis 25, we’re told that Ishmael (and his wife) went on to have twelve (legitimate) sons: Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. As far as I can see, Muhammed’s name doesn’t appear. It’s possible that Muhammed is descended from one of these twelve men (some 2,400+ years later); however, that is beyond the scope of the Genesis text. Speaking as an amateur genealogist, I’ve found it’s almost impossible to reliably trace a family line more than 300-400 years, let alone 2,400 years. Tradition traces Muhammed’s family back six generations (about 300 years) within Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Although I know many would love to tie Muhammed’s family line back to Abraham, I suspect it’s more speculation/”tradition” than concrete, established fact…. If I tried to link my family with some of the genealogies out there, I could say I was descended from Queen Boadicea or Odin or Charlemagne, but it doesn’t necessarily make it true.
If we’re honest with ourselves, the world is full of envy, resentment, violence, and more. That’s just part of man’s essential sinful character, which isn’t limited to “just” the Muslims or “just” people of a certain skin color. None of us are innocent. Sin is sin, no matter what the sin is, no matter who commits it. And no matter what the sin is or who commits it, it’s still wrong. Bottom line: when we judge others, we also judge ourselves. Romans 2:3 says,”Do you suppose, O man — you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself — that you will escape the judgment of God?” Also, Titus 3: 3-7 reminds us Christians: “For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Were it not for God’s grace, there’s no telling what we’d be.
As to the others saying Islam is an “African” religion, Africa has a long history of traditional religions predating both the Christian or Muslim influences, which began to grow sometime after 35 A.D. and after 613 A.D., respectively. Islam is first, and foremost, an Arabian religion, and a relatively recent one at that.

Looks like all the research you people did, if any, came from Internet, and we all know how accurate the Internet is. When a racist does not like the facts, he just rejects them. Perhaps thats why most of them are losers. This article only mentioned the most famous followers of Islam. But most tend to be quite successful. While all religions have their weakness Ness, none can claim to be more bloody than Christianity. Intelligent people check out their information before trying to convince someone, others just try to convince people to their way of thinking by claiming outlandish hearsay that can’take be backed up by fact. I dare say that 99.9% of everyone making a comment here have never been to a Muslim country and could not accurately describe the tenants of the Muslim faith if their lives depended on it.

First of all, there is a difference between Arabs and Muslims. Arabs aren’t all Muslims, and Muslims aren’t all Arabic. Therefore there can be Arabic Christians. Second of all, can everyone stop hating on Islam( and that’s the religion not Muslims) and people in general. You don’t get to judge a religion, or anything in that matter if you don’t know or understand it. Also I’ve noticed that for some reason Chrsitians love to denounce and shame Islam and their figures, when honestly, Muslims respect Jesus, but just don’t view him as a God. No one is sitting there yelling at Christians and telling them what they believe is wrong. You don’t get to say that for someone’s belief. Instead of being so concerned on what you hear, why don’t you search it up and read books about it. And actually read sources that aren’t biased and read about the humbleness and peace of Islam instead of watching the news with these extremists. In fact when a White person commits a crime, they are defined as sick people, where religion has nothing to do with it. Yet an act of crime committed by an ARAB not a Muslim, is automatically considered an act it terrorism. Please people no one is saying for you to change your views and belief, but be open to these ideas, and not stay ignorant. Man woman white or black child no matter the religion, everybody should have the joy of living happy and well fed and dressed suitably. Pouquoi to be limited as well as all these people whom I have just read. How it is possible that one day everybody lives in harmony. With so much contempt and wickedness in your hearts, I doubt that this peace arrives one day. I am neither Christian nor catholic. But I believe in a God of love who has to look at all this with horror.

That is the reason why a lot of them turn to Islam. Slavery is a big deal in Islam and currently there are more blacks in slavery because of Islam then there ever were during the 17 and 18 hundreds at the peak of the slave trade.

The first thing people need to realize is that Islam is not a religion. It is a theocracy – a government with a religious component. Islam presents itself as a religion to deceive people. If a person becomes Islam they are swearing fealty to a foreign government. And one that has been waging war against everyone else and its own citizens for 1400 years.
